MK Garden & Property Care was born from a passion for working outdoors and a genuine satisfaction in seeing the transformation of neglected spaces into clean, vibrant gardens. After years of hands-on experience and helping friends and neighbours with their gardens, I realised there was a real need for reliable, honest, and detail-focused garden care in Cork. What started as a small side project quickly grew through word of mouth and loyal customers who appreciated quality work done with pride. I wanted to build a service that people could count on — not just for cutting grass or trimming hedges, but for treating every garden with care, consistency, and a personal touch. That’s how MK Garden & Property Care began — from a love for the work, and a commitment to doing it right.

What I enjoy most is seeing the transformation — taking an overgrown or tired space and turning it into something clean, vibrant, and enjoyable again. There's real satisfaction in the before-and-after, especially when the client is genuinely surprised by the result. One job that stands out was a garden for an elderly customer whose property had become completely overgrown. The grass was knee-high, hedges were out of control, and the space hadn’t been touched in months due to health issues. She told us she used to love sitting in her garden, but it had become overwhelming and unmanageable. We stepped in and, over the course of a full day, completely transformed the space — cutting the grass, shaping the hedges, removing weeds, and clearing away all the green waste. By the time we finished, the garden was clean, safe, and welcoming again. She was genuinely emotional — not just because of how it looked, but because she could finally enjoy her outdoor space once more. It reminded us why we do what we do. It’s not just about tidying gardens — it’s about making a real difference in people’s lives.
